GAOs, BRIDGE BETWEEN THE COMMON CITIZEN AND THE GOVERNMENT

Being a GAO makes us proud. Most of the us are posted in the remote parts of the country where we get a lot of opportunities to learn and share new ideas and also experience the difficulties faced by the communities.

Our job we should say, it’s not just focused upon the administration rather it’s multi tasked. Every agencies appoints us as a focal person because we are more connected with the people at the grass root level. For example like focal person for kidu, disaster, assistant chief election coordinator, GT secretaries, media and etc.

This profession always let us learn and gain new ideas and knowledge. We are not bound to do the same work everyday, so every day is a new beginning. But some people tend to draw conclusion that we don’t have much work to do and look down upon us and even neglect our presence.
Nevertheless, we are still happy to be a GAO who render various services to the people and help their voice heard to the nation. Thus, acting our self as a bridge between the people and the government.
