His Majesty's kidu office has been supporting the children of the most disadvantaged rural people giving them a second chance to continue their education. Those students are either from broken families or single parents who are not able to afford their children's education expenses. Those students have to discontinue their studies simply though they have keen interests in studying and pursuing brighter careers in the future.
These needy students are identified and verified through their profile which is then submitted to the office of the Gyalpoi Zimpoen through the Dzongkhag kidu office for approval. The students are then granted allowances annually depending upon their grades to cover their expenses. The allowances are enough to cover their basic expenses such as buying their uniforms and stationaries.
