Citrus Fruit Drop

The Gewog Administration, Rangthangling is to extend the full support in a programme, ‘The Citrus drop” by going for the weekly Monitoring of the Late Citrus Fruit drop at Rangthangling for the Orange Growers and it was also as decided amongst the Orange Growers during the meeting held on 25^th October, 2013 in presence of the Gewog Sr.Agricuture Extension Supervisor. It was agreed on their part to firstly dig the pit and to dump the drop out oranges in the Pit and to monitor on 29^th October by the Gup, Sr. Agricuture Extension Supervisor and Gewog Administrative Officer. And again after a week it is either to cover by the Mud or to burn it. Failing to do would mean paying a fine of Nu.200 for not digging the pit and dumping it and again Nu.100 for not collecting the dropped oranges. And again the fine of Nu,100 for not covering the dumped oranges or burning it. After all it is for their own benefit.
