To follow a 100% sanitation and healthy environment,
SNV has promoted awareness on 100% flush toilet coverage since Oct-Nov 2011
with all the respective villages. Workshops and training for the toilet
construction was also conducted wherein a focal person was trained for a week.
The Project provided the people with all the detailed idea on the construction.
As per the latest status from the Health Division in the Geog, the Flush Toilet
construction has 90% coverage except for the few genuine cases of old aged
couple and Kidu recipients. However, the Geog has decided to come up with
voluntary services to make it 100% coverage.
The SNV project conducted a recent update meeting at
the Geog Center with all the relevant people.
